(Kansas City, October 8, 2018) CTL associates visited Hollis and Miller Architects in Kansas City, a 68 year old company, for a second time this year. Seven associates were hosted by Keegan Jackson, Partner and Education Marker Leader along with Amie Perez, SPHR, Talent Relations manager. Keegan and Amie explained how they search for, interview and acquire talent for their company. For them mission fit (culture) is a prime consideration. They seek to acquire talent for the long term so mission fit is critical. About 10 percent of their after tax earnings go back to the community they serve making them a corporate citizen. They discussed how they use LinkedIn as a tool for finding talent and explained the process they use internally to make a hiring decision.
