(Leavenworth, October 26, 2017) The Center for Transitional Leadership in partnership with the Kauffman Foundation and Fort Leavenworth Soldier For Life program office graduated its last class on Fort Leavenworth, October 20, 2017. The class that just graduated, started with 20 individuals, 12 graduated. Since 2013 about 160 individuals; military, spouses, government civilians, and veterans have taken these classes. The FastTrac program was designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs think about the process of staring a new business, developing market research, building business plans, attracting start up revenue, and understanding the challenges of establishing a new business. Kauffman FastTrac is now available online, for free, to anyone who wants to start their own business. CTL thanks the David Woods Kemper Veterans Foundation for underwriting the presentation of this program on Fort Leavenworth in 2017.
